It is the dream of almost every traveler to one day visit Venice. This unique, enchanting city has grand palaces, ancient crumbling villas and comfortable hotels built directly over the canals. Even the most seasoned traveler is captured by the mystery and romance of La Serenissima. Piazza San Marco with its stunning basilica is the hub of the city and you will be drawn to this spot. Everywhere you go in Venice you will travel by water and where you cannot, you must walk. You cannot leave the city without enjoying a romantic gondola ride with serenade.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Venice independently. Transfer to your central city hotel, relax and prepare for a welcome dinner. Evening: Welcome Dinner Meals: Dinner
Day 2: Today you will explore the city of Venice with its many “floating islands” and Palazzos. Your private motor launch will take you to St Mark’s Square, the Doge’s Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. Then there is a stop at the Byzantine Basilica of St Mark before going on to Murano glass-blowing factory to witness this ancient craft. Later, after lunch (your own arrangements) there will be time to explore further at your leisure. Evening: Perhaps you would like to join the locals in their traditional evening stroll, the passeggiata followed by a drink at a bar or café in a piazza. Meals: Breakfast
Day 3: After breakfast at your hotel you travel into the countryside to Verona and Lake Garda stopping first at the “home” of Shakespeare’s star-crossedlovers to admire the Roman Arena and Juliet’s balcony. You will enjoy a scenic drive as you travel through vineyards of the Veneto before reaching the pretty shores of Lake Garda and stop in Sirmione for lunch. A late afternoon return to your Venice hotel. Evening: At leisure Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Day 4: Today there is planned for you a “Venice at Leisure” for you to relax, shop, wander and explore areas of special interest to you. There are many organized walking tours and of course there is time for you to take that memorable gondola ride id that is your wish. For art fans you can visit the Frari Church housing Titian’s Assumption as well as paintings by Bellini and Tintoretto. Your local guide will assist and offer recommendations. Evening: A farewell Venetian dinner and an optional classical performance. The nature and availability of the performance will be determined by your arrival in Venice when programmes are available. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Day 5: Your tour concludes after breakfast at your hotel. Transfers will be provided for your onward journey. Meals: Breakfast
