In the second half of the fifteenth century Matyas Corvinus became king and turned Hungary into a great Renaissance monarchy. It is fitting that Kempinski’s luxury hotel in Budapest is named after Corvinus as it continues the city’s proud traditions and commitment to artistic excellence in elegant accommodation and in the midst of major cultural and sporting events which run throughout the year every year.

Budapest plays host to hundreds of cultural activities, sporting events and festivals and is especially respected as a centre of musical events including the Spring Festival, an international celebration of classical music and ballet, and the Budapest Contemporary Music weeks devoted to contemporary classical music. Throughout the year you can always experience a range of gipsy and folklore events, organ concerts, symphonies, opera and ballet. But this tour enables you to link your luxury accommodation and elegant service with the major cultural or sporting even which interests you.
